Catamaran Charter Greece Reviews

We have rented a catamaran with skipper for one week in July 2018 through Europe Yachts group. Mario has been amazing, answering emails super fast even on week ends. Booking has been very easy with a very large choice of boats. Mario was super helpful advising us on the best boat for our family.
The boat was very confortable, new and our skipper was perfect. Very knowledgeable, easy going and always found the best place to swim or spend the night.

A group of 5 friends and I took a 7 day trip from Preveza inn the Ionian sea. We swam in caves, ate fresh fish, and stopped in towns all down the coast for incredible views, dinners and nights out. It was a week we’ll never forget. Crstal clear water, super friendly people, tons to do. 10/10 recommend.

We spent the week of 7/1-8 sailing off the coast of Greece on a catamaran with another family. It was an amazing trip, made possible by our outstanding Captain. He knows the area extremely well and made sure we visited the best places to swim, eat, hike. He was amazing with our three teenage kids, they probably would have chosen to live with him on the boat if we let them. This was a definite repeat for us, a great way to spend a week sailing on the truly beautiful Cyclades islands.

We chartered a Lagoon 52 for a week and sailed from Athens to Milos, stopping. Our Skipper planned, discussed with us and then booked all of the stops and sights along the route. He had a lot of great recommendations for restaurants(!), swimming locations, what to visit and knew the area like his backyard. Accommodating and extremely friendly, our skipper always knew how to find what we were looking for.

Big recommendation!

Myself and my two kids hired a catamaran for first time in Greece.
I didn’t have a set schedule and for the most part relied on our skipper for advice on destinations, beautiful lagoons, and local knowledge and contacts for last minute booking into marinas.
Nothing was too much trouble and always met with practical advice and good cheer. My kids had a great experience onboard and throughout the whole week.
We had one reason to call the agency for support on a small electronics problem with the boat. They responded as quickly as was possible.
Our skipper was a solid skipper and a good man!
We couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

After amazing week on catamaran, I can honestly say that this was a great experience.
Our skipper was Filip, and he did a great job, to make us feel safe, informed, and entertained. He is great with kids, and with him, we felt like we have one more friend on board, instead of skipper.
Nature is beautiful, and this nature deserves to be visited by catamaran.
Great vacation

We booked a bare boat charter. It was absolutely great!! Mario was very professional, easy to reach and helpful!

We booked a Lagoon 50 for a family holiday around Athens. Captain was Nikola.

Overall the holiday was great with some unexpected problem with new boat but has been dealt with max possible effort.

The boat: Clean, well prepared and equipped boat, very new 2018. We asked for child safety net and it was well installed by the time we arrive. We enjoyed the boat very much. One hiccup was : We had warning beeps on ‘water in fuel’ on a daily basis, which was caused by water getting into fuel system during winter. Each time company sent engineer to de-activate it, and as a good gesture they waived majority of fuel cost but it did affect the journey planning (annoying to stay on deck and have to take shorter journey when it happens) – Mario and company did their best and apart from changing the boat when this happen I guess there is a limit to what you can do.

Captain: We had Nicolas who was amazing. He kept in mind the safety on board with my 4-yo, made good judgement call between ‘excitement and learning to sail’ vs ‘keep it enjoyable and safe’; He recommended some really good ports and a really exclusive restaurant with the best sea food, home grown veg, home made wine and olive oil, a must try. He also dealt with the fuel warning well, making sure charter company sends engineer to solve problem. He was polite and professional.

Mario: Mario was great from Euro Charter group. We exchanged about 20 emails before finalising the charter, and every time he was patient and professional. The boat was provided by a local company and Mario made sure they took the problem seriously and made good gesture in the end. Despite the problem we had on the boat, I trust his customer service and would return again.

The sailing trip – together with two friends and our sons – exceeded all my expectations. It was simply gorgeous.
Special thanks goes to our perfect Skipper, who was all the time extremely nice and professional, taught me a lot about sailing, played waterpolo with us and, and and. The same amount of special thanks go to the hostess, who took care about us during the entire week. We had amazing dishes and really nice discussions.

We had a fantastic week on our first charter. The boat was exactly as promised, and everyone we dealt with was incredibly professional. Would definitely recommend using Europe Yachts Group and we’ll be going back.

Excellent 2 weeks sailing from Europe Yachts Charter Group in Athens.
This is a very efficient professional operation.
Boat was perfect. Clean and ready early.
Only hassle was the fuel dock on Friday pm (which is not actually under their control).
Cruising area is spectacularly beautiful and the food is the best we’ve experienced in 15 years of sailing in the Med.
